Who writes this.
Named authors, specific expertise, accountable for what they publish.
Abhishek founded GeoMemo after a decade building data infrastructure across finance, adtech, and research. He writes the Founder’s Journal, edits every report before it ships, and runs the credibility-scoring methodology. His posture is center-realist with a bias toward showing the dataset behind every claim; he is most interested in the pieces of the geopolitical picture that are visible in market signals, supply-chain data, and non-English sources that English-language publications systematically under-read.
He has been wrong in public before — about the 2023 Moldova gas-crisis resolution (over-indexed on Russian leverage, under-read on Moldovan political cohesion) and about the pace of semiconductor export-control enforcement in 2024 (under-estimated the compliance appetite of mid-tier Chinese design firms). Both corrections are published on /editorial.
We’re commissioning regional contributors and desks. The aspiration is a masthead of five to seven named authors by the end of 2027. Listed below are the roles we’re actively hiring for — names go up when people sign, not before.
- View-From-Tehran correspondent — Persian-language primary sourcing, Gulf and Levant coverage, realist posture
- View-From-Beijing correspondent — Mandarin primary, PLA/industrial-policy focus, non-consensus read on Taiwan
- View-From-Brasília correspondent — Portuguese primary, Latin American sovereign and security
- Methodology lead — stability-score rewrite, scoring formula stewardship, corrections ledger
- Data-viz editor — the GeoMemo chart system, visual argument across editorial and reports
